Meet us....Giles and Nicola Palmer

We are a couple of farmers with a passion for wellies! As the name suggests we are a husband and wife team who work, sleep, eat and pretty much breathe wellington boots and country clothing.

Having decided farming full-time was not going to support us, we started our internet retail business in 2004. The obvious choice was to sell a product that we wore regularly. Who better to to test the best of wellington boots on the market? Since then things have moved on, we have stayed true to our roots and will only sell top quality brands. This spans a wide range of wellington boots and accessories from fashion boots for festivals through to luxurious neoprene-lined and leather-lined boots for those who spend a lot of time outdoors during the winter months.

We both hate websites that advertise stock they do not hold, leaving you to place the order and wait weeks for delivery. For this reason we hold all the stock we sell and run a live stock system. We are both perfectionists and hope that we manage to achieve our goal to provide customers with a quality service. All items that are held in stock can leave us by 3.30pm and be with you the next day.

Le Chameau have been making premium quality country clothing and footwear since 1927 and we offer this great range on line. Sporting kit provides country sport enthusiasts a place to buy clothing, footwear and accessories.

So, what do we do in our spare time? Well we couldn't really live without farming so a few years ago, Giles bought me a couple of in-calf Dexter heifers for Christmas and we now have a herd of approx 30 cows, calves and a bull called Otis. We're happy now...wellies and cows! Bliss.
